Quality Assurance Engineer
Performs and/or supports testing tasks to ensure that developed products meet design specifications.
Communicates effectively with product developers, technical support specialists, and clients on product issues.
Incorporate understanding of client's software into test requirements, design, cases, and scripts
Design of test cases for assigned products, building of test systems and automation of tests.
Collaborate with team members to execute test plans; creates manual and automated test cases test cases based on design and requirements.
Analyzes test output to ensure functionality regression and new feature of the products during a release cycle.
Documents test scripts in a common repository and logs product failure issues into the problem tracking system.
Help implement use of automated testing tools and test frameworks for automated functional testing.
Participates in code reviews for test scripts within the test group.
Work in a fast-paced environment.
- At least 1 to 3 year related work experience
- Ability to understand business processes, product features, analyze new requirements and define complete tests for the same.
- Working knowledge with testing HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and jQuery
- Working knowledge with testing on programming languages such as PHP and Python
- Working knowledge with testing web frontend frameworks (e.g. ReactJS, AngularJS, Bootstrap)
- Familiar with using version control systems (Git)
- Familiar with web backend frameworks (e.g. Django, Laravel, CodeIgniter)
- Familiar with testing integration and APIs
- Familiar with testing SOAP and REST web services
- Familiar with test driven development
- Adaptable and fast learner
- Ability to work on multiple projects
- Ability to work remotely and efficiently with minimal supervision
